Ever since I was a kid I heard the narrative that environmentalists ruined the rural Oregon economy.

Ever since I was a kid, I heard the narrative that “environmentalists” ruined the rural Oregon economy. Turns out huge corporate tax cuts for Wall Street-backed logging companies cost those rural counties and schools far more in lost revenue, and the data backs it up

Enjoying the scenery ... browsing in an antique store ...

Had a few items in my hand ...

The owner of the shop started spewing crap ....

“I can wipe my ass on that spotted owl ... the wretched environmentalist have ruined our state ... etc ...”

I put down my almost purchases and walked out ...
