Walmarts in Multnomah County not requiring masks and spreading the virus in our neighborhoods

The manager at Walmart # 3178 told me that their corporate management told them they didn't need to comply with our state guidelines. We are in a hot spot here and this is beyond irresponsible.

Store - (503) 492-4725

Corporate - 1-800-925-6278 - info@walmart.com

Please let them know how you feel about this. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I already had complained to corporate and got no answers. Still not requiring masks per our governor's orders.

Walmart strictly enforcing mask protocol would go a long way training the goobers in "rebellion". That's their default merchant, forgive the stereotyping.

Last time I went about 50% of people had masks. Today they were announcing over the loud speaker that masks were required. Everyone had one. I thought WA had loosened up more than the Portland area. They were stage 2 a week ago, looks like they’ve dropped back. Surprised Portland area isn’t following suit but the rest of OR has loosened up.

The customers are not. The entrance is a joke. They are "supposed" to keep people from all coming in at once and maintain a distance and that does not happen. No wipes or sanitizers. People just do not try that hard to stay 4 feet away much less 6. The plastic shields are a joke, they are next to the area where you talk to the cashier and pay so it makes no damn difference. Walmart still sucks.

There are lots of gates delineating entrances and exits, one-way aisles, six-foot apart lines on the floor at checkouts and a glass partition at the pharmacy. I tried going out through the gate next to the one where I came in since it was across from the marked exit, but I got yelled at, was told I had to go through the check out area. People seemed to be following protocol, but I found all the gates kinda confusing.
