Wave of luxury apartments pushing central Ohio rental rates to lofty heights
A wave of uber-luxury apartment complexes is pushing central Ohio rental rates to lofty heights.
Some are offering two-bedroom units for more than $2,000 a month, and town houses and penthouses are approaching $3,000 a month.
“Certainly for apartment complexes, this is new,” said Robert Vogt, a partner in Vogt Santer Insights, an apartment-research company based in Columbus. “It’s definitely a major change from what we’ve seen.”
Leading the way are three new projects starting to enlist tenants in anticipation of opening in the next few months:
