'Republican will win S!': Trump takes swipe at McCaskill ahead of his Missouri visit

Days before his scheduled visit to Springfield, President Donald Trump mentioned U.S. Sen. Claire McCaskill in tweet Sunday morning predicting Republican gains in the Senate.

“I will also be going to a wonderful state, Missouri, that I won by a lot in ’16. Dem C.M. is opposed to big tax cuts. Republican will win S!,” Trump tweeted about 8:15 a.m.

The message came among a series of Twitter posts Trump made Sunday morning about ongoing catastrophic flooding in southeastern Texas caused by Tropical Storm Harvey, the wall the president wants to build on the U.S.-Mexico border, and NAFTA.

Senator McCaskill could not be any more closely tied to Secretary Clinton who was destroyed in Missouri. Absent a moron like Akin to run against, the only way for us to win here is to get a huge turnout in St. Louis and Kansas City.

Unfortunately, again, we chose to side with Bob McCulloch and the Ferguson whitewash instead of the righteously angry after the murder of Michael Brown because too many of us believe that we should target the white suburbs like we did in 1992.

The Party will get 90%+ of our vote because we know the alternative, but the Party will not even come close to getting the necessary turnout.
