You might know, Batshit Crazy Michelle Bachmann managed to get airtime at Thatcher's funeral

[div class = "excerpt"]
Reps. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota and Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, conservative stalwarts in the U.S. House, got plenty of Sky News airtime in London today as part of a congressional delegation to the funeral of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

Bachmann, donning a 1920s-style cloche hat, called Thatcher a "strong woman of faith" and "the most consequential political woman of the last 100 years."

Bachmann, who often compared herself to the "Iron Lady" during her presidential run, promoted the appearance through Twitter and her congressional office.

There is a link to the video in the article but here it is as well. Watch it if you dare - I couldn't make it all the way through. I couldn't get past her talking about Thatcher's great faith and big heart.

BTW - I know Target was selling the hats like the one Bachmann has on but I can't imagine where Marsha Blackburn found that thing she's wearing - I imagine it may have caused some giggles at the funeral.

As dry as it gets. Brits got a lot of laughs on that interview and I wouldn't be surprised if it was a set up by BBC. You can't call it a joke... but it sure could be seen as one.
