Excessive Heat Watch Issued for Arlington, Region
ARLnow.com July 19, 2020 at 9:00pm

If you thought Sunday was hot, Monday may be worse.

Arlington and much of the D.C. region will be under a Excessive Heat Watch starting at noon on Monday. The National Weather Service issued the watch earlier today (Sunday), warning of dangerously sweltering temperatures Monday afternoon.

More from NWS:

At 8:52 am it is already 90 degrees at Reagan National Airport. Yikes. Gonna be an absolute scorcher of a day.

Heat advisories and excessive heat warnings in effect area-wide.

The next few days. I don’t see the temp changing much though. This is going to be a steam bath.
