Renaissance of grey green, midnight blue, taupe and burgundy house colors?

I live in a neighborhood with a good number of Craftsman and California Mission style houses. Many are being remodeled. I see a lot of these colors, usually in duos - one main color one trim color. Also a deep lemon yellow as trim / highlight. Anyone else noticed this?

fwiw, I love the look. Clean, earthy and decidedly Californian.

ETA: That said, in my neighborhood wild colors abound, and one of my favorites is a deep lime green, with midnight blue trim and saturated red-orange accents...
