(6,853 posts)They need all the help we can give them. Tragic.
And almost comically humorous on a cosmic scale.
Id like to send them an extra hurricane thats currently forecast for here in New Orleans.
Either too little rain or too much rain. Hmm. Rhymes with total swarming.

(7,468 posts)My oldest and dearest friend who has major health issues was under mandatory evacuation.
I cannot find any info on the area and cannot reach her.
She has none of this worlds goods, has major health issues and lives in a tiny house. Her only income is disability insurance. She has no renters insurance. No $$ left to buy it.
I am afraid for her and would like to send something if I can find out if , heaven forbid, she has lost her house. She has Lupus, Fibro and two inoperable brain tumors. (I have a nerve complaining of a backache!)
Anyone have any information? I understand it is a small town. I have Googled and can find nothing. I know the fire is still awful. How does anyone cope with this?
My thoughts are with everyone effected.
