It's a good show.
I'm going to admit something here that I'm sorta ashamed of but I think that Mads Mikkelsen as Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a brilliant forensic psychiatrist and cannibalistic serial killer is handsome. I can't believe that I find a friggin' cannibalistic serial killer attractive.
That has never happened to me before. Usually I find people playing serial killers repulsive even when they are nice looking in other roles.

(3,918 posts)My all time favorite film is "Manhunter", the first film to feature Hannibal (played by Brian Cox). The show is a pretty interesting take on the characters and setup for Red Dragon. I hope they get as far as adapting the novel. The movie version of Red Dragon was good, but it was no Manhunter.

(3,918 posts)Made in 1986 by Michael Mann, so it was at the height of Miami Vice and the film looks it. But it's a very slick, entertaining movie. William Peterson plays Will Graham in it. Worth checking out on Netflix.
