Killing Eve last night (5/3/20)! (Spoiler alert)

Wow. I did not see that coming.

I hope Niko is okay, but I can't see how. And doing it right in front of Eve is horribly cruel. Yeah, that'll drive a wedge between V and E.

1. seems to be a trend that recent tv series kill off multiple main characters, including the popular

ones for shock effect. I'm not too thrilled with this trend. But I suppose with this show, we've gotten somewhat used to it.

2. A wedge between Eve and Villanelle?

E and V are too obsessed with each other for a wedge to separate them for good.

Once V killed Eve's friend in front of her the first season. Then they worked together in season two—Eve's in no rush to bring V to justice.

3. You don't think Eve believing that

Villanelle killed Eve's husband in front of her won't enrage her and drive a wedge between them? I thought it was a brilliant plan by Dasha.

4. Eve is smart enough to figure out Villanelle wouldn't kill him for that exact reason.

I was trying to find the episode in the second season. Where Eve essentially states why Niko wasn't killed along with the teacher. If Villanelle killed him, Eve would never forgive her.

My crazy guess is by killing the husband. It'll drive Eve to confront Villanelle, which will unite them in a common cause to figure out who killed Niko.

5. Jumped shark

IMHO not as good as earlier seasons. Kind of bored with it now to be honest.
