We capture light. Without light, all there is is darkness. We would see nothing.
In photography the absence of light gives us black.
If you would take colored filters, 1 red, 1 green and 1 blue, overlap them and shined light through them, amazing things happen.
If you look at the photo below you can see what happens where the different colored lights overlap.
Red and green make yellow
Red and blue make magenta
Blue and green make cyan
Where all three overlap the light is white.
It is the presence all the visible light in the spectrum that humans can see.
The screen you are viewing this on creates all you see with just the 3 colors of red, green and blue.
And that is where my thoughts go today.
Red, green and blue.
or as it is commonly referred to ... RGB
And I often found my self becoming dyslexic when people would refer to Ruth Bader Ginsburg as RBG
And I thought of how RBG was light.
She shined light, exposing darkness.
And I am crying

(149,516 posts)One between colors and light, and the other between RBG and us.
She brought light to our world.
I'm not crying but I feel her loss deeply, my dear Michael.
