It blooms even more abundantly in the spring and the leaves aren't so baked from the hot Texas summer sun. I also have two other varieties of magnolia trees in my yard. The other two are in my front yard and are also dwarf forms, but both are considerably larger than the saucer despite being planted much later. My saucer magnolia is just a nice little specimen I planted just outside my bedroom window.

about 3 blocks away from me (in NYC) that look like yours. They are some of the earlier blossoming trees we have in the Spring

It has to stay quite warm most of the time in late Sept, early Oct for them to do any reblooming.
