I love the colorful clothing, the dancing and the happy smiles on everyone.

What a wonderful Carnival it must have been!

How are you doing, dear girl?

I put up some smiling pictures to cheer myself up. He is really unwell Peg. So fragile. But I am very sensible. I have had two days to come to terms with this and although I cannot imagine life without him, right now I need to focus on making him comfortable and cared for. I will grieve later. Or sometimes late UK time on DU after I have put him to bed.

I had assumed they were from a trip to a S American country. How wonderful that such a celebration comes to the UK. Of course, Mardi Gras looks a lot like that in New Orleans, LA so how narrow minded of me!
