Okay, guys, I want to get this thing rolling ASAP because we will be down in Southeast for two weeks late May and I want to be done before we leave, which is May 16.

Can we have some suggestions, and I'll either post a poll or be dictatorial and pick one, depending on my mood.

2. Alaska.

Southeast Alaska is so disconnected from the rest of the state, it seems like another country.

I don't think I've been to the southeast US since 1980. I'm a western girl.

Ed. Unless you consider Washington DC southeast. I have been there a couple of times in the 2000s.

One of these years we'll probably get down to Floriduh to visit my older brother. They usually come up here since they have a mongo motor home (house on wheels, basically), but they always want us to come down there.

I was there for a couple of those anti war marches back in the mid 2000s. I think they were in the winter, if I remember right, although it felt like spring coming from here.
