YIKES! I froze the other evening

taking night shots! I was so cold when I got home I went to bed and put my electric blanket on HIGH! I never warmed up! Oh the joys of night photography and living where I live!

But I did learn a lot about night photography and to be perfectly honest it was fun experimenting. I have been a little "burnt out" lately taking photos and this exercise has inspired me.

It's Lonely at Night

Hope you finally got warm!

Can't decide which is my favorite. Love the clock but I think maybe the bench. It looks cold and stark....in the dark.

comments. I too like the bench and have photographed it (or others like in on our grounds) many times.

And yes, I finally did get warm! Thanks!

Oh btw, neither photo is submitted in the contest!

How well do I know this clock (and like it very much)
let me count ...
(right?)

It looks wintry and cold in both photographs, maybe because I no longer remember warmth.
Look forward to your entry, and all of them.

And it's cold.
Sorry about your situation. I barely would visit there for reasons of possible temps below 40. If you know what i'm trying to say..........

to use a photo that I took last summer, but decided to brave the cold and went out shooting for new stuff. I'm glad I did. Although it was cold, experimenting not only was a lot of fun but a nice learning experience too!

add any lighting. There's a lamp post right next to the bench (just like the one next to the clock) so there's more than enoujgh available light!

the brightness of the clock face is overwhelming to me. that seems like the kind of shot i would try HDR on
