Where is the wooden running path? I have a vague memory of walking on one like that when I was a very young child. I just don't remember where. The ferns are very much like what grows on the ridges of the Appalachian mountains and that's probably where the trail I was on was, but that was at least 45 years ago.

Even then, it was only to NYC - the top of the Empire State Building is all I remember about that trip. Does the Danbury Mall still have that 2-level merry-go-round? My kids loved that thing. We'd always stop there whether we needed to or not.

Spent a couple of years refurbishing it in the 90s, it's sparking-new these days. I loved it when I was a kid!
