You did a wonderful job on the reflection of the woods and the clouds and sky in the water. I like the looseness of the brushwork in the foreground too. It brings your attention to the water. Very nice.

contrast of the tightness of the reflected cloud’s edge compared to just the idea of swamp grasses and goldenrod. I think it was more about recording the memory of the feeling, since hubby already beautifully captured it exactly as it looked.

sketchiness of impatience gives it more feeling than it would have had if I’d gotten fussy with the foreground. Especially since, for me, the story was in the water.
