Random thoughts for a Tuesday morning....

Suddenly, the color is green. Everywhere. The trees have all popped, the azaleas and dogwoods lost their blooms - so it is green....grass, shrubs, trees.

...Retirement from the corporate world and opting for self employment (writing) is a daily exercise in self motivation. It is a blessing (big time) and a curse (for those times you need a kick in the ass to get started). but mostly a blessing (far less money, far more mental well being).

Zero Dark Thirty was an intense movie from beginning to end....just a remarkable story on many levels. We finally watched it last night. I don't know where to even begin with how it made us feel, so I won't. All of the green outside is making my mind drift.

I've got a million things to do, but don't at the moment really feel like doing any of them - so I am here putting down random thoughts.

A broken rib hurts like hell and makes it hard to find any sort of comfortable position for sleeping - I am most comfortable standing (but it is hard to sleep that way!).

that's it....off to write a bit, I suppose (so, so green.....out every window, gives the house a soft glow inside).

Great day to all~!

I want to wander out in the Spring rain to see how all of our transplants are doing.
A ten year old Weeping Redbud was moved last weekend.

Also, I'm wondering who will feed my old flock of Hummingbirds.
They should be returning about now but I'm not there. [img][/img]

You aren't kidding about the greenery. Boom, it's here.

I have a tree I kept wanting to call an arborist about and now that the leaves are on it, it looks much larger and more imposing than it did just a couple of weeks ago. I should not have waited!

The pollen has died down and now we are able to enjoy the color and beauty (and green!) everywhere.
