Just about every football pundit out there believes the same thing: Tebow would be a good tight end.

They also believe Tebow is a shitty quarterback.

But I guess he's too friggin' proud to accept any position other than QB.

He isn't an NFL-caliber QB, but tight end is not some throw-away position. You've got to be able to block, run good routes, catch the ball in traffic and you've got to have the physical tools to do all that at a high level. Tebow may have the physical tools (he's a bit small/soft for a tight end though) but he's never proven he can block, catch or even have the desire to play the position.

I wouldn't hire him when each year there are dozens of top colleges graduating guys with the skills, experience, and proven desire to play the position.

I do know some QBs have made the switch to other positions, but they basically did it directly from college (Scott Frost is a great example). I don't hate Tebow, don't really care much about him.

kind of sad to see Tebow's career go like this; he was on pace to maybe become the next Mike Vick. He was left-handed like Vick, and he was also quick and agile. The wildcat formation he did really drove opposing defenses crazy, where they not only had to worry about the RBs and FBs, but also the QB running in addition to gaining yards through the air.

I believe he could've amounted to more under the right team. The Broncos, for instance, were able to win some games with him, besides the two against the Patriots. He could've been a handy back-up QB for Peyton Manning there, and could've gotten some guidance and mentoring under him.

I'm sorry to see his career end like this. New York was never a good fit for him.
