I got hooked as a replacement player for a religious trivia contest

talk about being out of your element -
8 categories - one totally bible another religious, another specifically about the organization.
I was the anchor, I mean i drug them way down. Well not really bit There were 4 categories I knew damn near nothing.

But we won - actually, we were the only team over 50%and each team had at least on Sunday school teacher and student on it.

they didn't like some of my jokes too well ..............

How many people were on Noah's Ark? I thought he only had room for dinosaurs.

Seems to be quite popular when no rational explanation applies.

but it didn't. Some would point to this as a miracle.
How many freaking wives did King David have, anyway?

King David had eight wives and at least ten concubines. His wives are listed in 2 Samuel 3:2-5, but the list is missing two wives - the first one, Michal, and the last one, Bathsheba. Their names in order are:

Michal
Ahinoam
Abigail
Maacah

Haggith
Abital
Eglah
Bathsheba

2 Samuel 5:13-15 says that David took more wives and concubines in Jerusalem, but doesn't list how many, only names the sons born to him there. In a later passage, we are told of ten concubines whom his son Absalom defiled, so at the very least, David had eight wives and ten concubines - probably more.

Damn!

none of them right.
the answer was Michal - no idea what the question was now.
I smirked "David married a guy?" which drew a laugh from the teen to my right and a rebuke from the 70 year old to my left.
