Was a matter of funding.

My prescription was so old I got headaches if I wore them too long.

But they almost look the same as my old ones - didn't change the style.

Did it for my eyes sake, had no issues with the appearance of my old ones.

7. i've had my prescription updated every couple of years

but the frames were due for an update. it cost me more than what i would normally spend on myself, but we had the money and i just fell in love with them.

I've been wearing glasses since I was 7 years old (the cat-eye period-can't believe I survived that) and in the 70's (high school) I had my light-brown hair parted in the middle with wire-rims and my brother called it my "John Lennon period". LOL
