The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsGood morning, DU friends!
Interesting weekend...two good days of selling our plants at the Farmers market (we are nearly done!), a breakfast of buttermilk whole wheat Belgian waffles with....FRESH strawberries (they aren't at their peak, yet, but they are becoming available from local growers!)...
....and I think I broke a rib (or bent it, bruised it, tore something - earlier in the week - don't make me laugh, it hurts when I do)...how long is this thing going to hurt, anyway? Can't find a way to get comfy in bed....
Happy Sunday....shout out to my MIRT pals who I miss seeing regularly (still bumbling around DU wondering where to go).
Now, back to the book tomorrow...seriously - one more month to finish quite a lot of text...yikes (and then there is that big garden to plant - I need another 12 hours in the day)

(28,394 posts)I wish I could buy some of your plants! I'm "incapacitated" this spring and didn't get my seeds started. Good luck trying to find heirloom tomatoes at any of our local outlets. I'll be happy if we can get the garden in by Memorial Day this year. I'm going to miss those huge tomatoes in August.
Sorry you are hurting! Hope you feel better soon!

(12,008 posts)I did the same last year. Sleeping in a completely different position than normal was really hard. Pray that you don't get a cold. The two came together for me, and every cough was agony. Expect it to hurt a lot for a few weeks and feel completely back to normal somewhere between two or three months to never.

Have a great week.
