(Yesterday, I had a new patient ask me if I was going to 'describe' some medications for her.
"Okay, sure. They're small, round, orange, and they have a scoring up the middle." 
)
"Oh, it's a big pretty white plane with red stripes, curtains in the windows and wheels and it looks like a big Tylenol." 
I know you only thought that to yourself and didn't say it out loud. Especially since the patient would clearly not have gotten the joke.
Humor is the way I deal with stuff too.
By the time you read this I'm sure you'll be done with your day at the clinic. Hope you made it through unscathed. 
Or so I've been told.
