They really need to find a better naming convention. I was looking online today at the names in Arabia and they feel no compunction about breaking convention if something sounds bad. That said, they have a Tastes of America promo going and the featured is Taste of America, Mexico which is a McChicken sandwich with bun, chicken, lettuce, mayo (sounds like the regular $1 McChicken, right?)..and salsa...mayo and salsa! Mayo and fucking salsa.

No wonder they hate us for our freedom. They think we've annexed Mexico and freedom is being represented by mayo and salsa together on a McChicken.

I'm afraid to experiment but I have a hypothesis that between the heavily-aerated egg whites and the acidity of the tomatoes that combination is going to take on a pinkish consistency of cottage cheese.

Not just Mexico...apparently we're trying to poison Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar too.

I think there were even stars and stripes in the promo. The other sandwiches in the promo are all US cities...and Mexico.

I'll concede I was wrong about the mayo even though the idea of mayo mixed with salsa still gives me the heebies.

you can see a favorite Mexican street food -- a cob of corn with butter (more likely margarine), lime juice, chili powder, salt, and a big ol' slathering of mayo.

That's funny. I walked by that one every day when vacationing at the Residence Inn nearby there some years ago. I had just been listening to a podcast which said that dinosaurs were essentially proto-birds and that many even might had feathers.

When I walked past that T-Rex, I wondered how I'd never noticed before how much he resembled a giant, featherless chicken. Especially when I imagined him running. I could never see it any other way after that.
