I just made coffee using a metal tea strainer. Kinda worked. What off label use do you make of

gadgets?

(later) Okay...if you want to get really 'jumpy' use the metal tea strainer for finely ground coffee.

(later still) flat on my back because of a caffeine trip. Only try this at home where you are near a couch or other comfortable place to crash.

used power drills for many many things that I'm not sure are HC appropriate.

We used to make pizza sauce by the 5gal bucket with a paint-stirrer attachment. We also rigged some sort of dough-hook attachment but abandoned it fairly-quickly. I used to wonder what the health inspector would have said if he'd come in and seen me mixing pizza and pasta sauce with a 6HP Makita drill in a plastic bucket.
