Lucky for us, the closest thing they had to a Death Star was the C.S.S Alabama. And by the end, their stormtroopers were wearing rags, and eating grass and acorns.

while Confederate troops starved, back home farms were looted by local officials (a/k/a profiteers) ostensibly collecting food for the troops. The stolen goods ended up on the black market.

they lost the first battle. If you look at the congress today...the south is clearly running things.

On a lighter note: When I lived in VA I was told, "We didn't lose, we are just waiting for supplies!"
