It's Benign!
Recently I was told I have a tumor on my parotid salivary gland....
Wonderful.
My ENT doc said he would have it biopsied so we would know what we're dealing with.
That happened last week..........and now I know.

I know too many people who have been recently told that their tumors are malignant. It's really nice to hear someone say they're in the clear in this regard. Thanks for the great news! There doesn't seem, to be much of that these days.
Waiting for biopsy results is one of the worst things in the world, imo.

I had a lump myself, which turned out to be a calcification or some such, had to have the gland removed.

With all the bad news of the last week or so, I really needed some good news!!!
Its funny, isn't it, when we have a scare like that, how your whole perception of the world and life and the impermanence of everything just hits ya right in the kisser. The key is to really hold on to that feeling, because it brings a fullness into your life that is a hedge against taking things for granted. Not that YOU would, you're not at all that type, but at the very least it does bring another dimension of gratitude that is otherwise missing.
