A pastor in Nigeria told authorities he stole a woman’s underwear so that he could pray for her, according to Vanguard News.

Tommy Issachar, a 25-year-old pastor of All Nations Evangelical Church, was accused of stealing two pants, one bra and money from a female church member earlier this month. He plead not guilty to charges of breach of public peace and stealing.

“At first, the accused denied taking those underwears but later confessed that he actually took them. He said that he wanted to use them to pray for her, but denied taking the money,” the prosecutor said.

After the woman recovered her underwear from the pastor, he allegedly began sending her threatening text messages.

I wonder if this goes with the guy who saw Jesus in his laundry?
