Some critics are calling it old-fashioned, and it is...but it works.
BTW-I haven't been to a movie theatre in about two years. When did you start having to sit through a half-hour of ads even before another 20 minutes of previews? Also, I bought a small popcorn, small drink and a hot dog (ok-it was lunchtime) and it came to $17.00! Can anyone afford to go to a movie on a date anymore?

(65,162 posts)There is a place around here called the Movie Tavern that has good food and a wide selection, but they are overpriced also. I only go for select movies like this and Oz the Great and Powerful.

(10,237 posts)for the money it costs and maybe getting 20 cents worth of popcorn for 8 bucks you might as well enjoy it .
Remember the first time you saw a commercial before a film ? Now people are sheep texting for 40 minutes before the film they text thru too .
