Question for you gardening types out there

Okay tomorrow is tillin' and plantin' day. Mostly the usual stuff - 'maters and 'taters.

I am going to try an experiment. As I understand it chickens come from "a farm" which is like gardening. So, do I plant the chickens feet first or head first?

If you give the planted egg enough water and sun, you will grow a chicken

So burying it right-side-up is not an issue. For the home gardener, the easiest way to propagate it is to buy a specimen from a nursery, plant it, and divide the rootball towards the end of the season.

I was rather literal (i.e. stupid).

So I planted bird seed hoping to grow some birds.

We moved away before I got the chance to see if it worked.

This is your opportunity to carry on my experiment...

Plant some chicken feed and let me know what, if anything, comes up.

pick through the bag to make sure nobody slipped any C.H.U.D. seeds in...

Not sure what they'd look like...maybe anything that doesn't resemble a bird seed...

Some bird seed contains hemp seed. Try to grow a bluebird and you may end up with a cuckoo.
