like me. I foolishly believe that I am the Cat Whisperer. I am pretty good with cats, even ferals, but I have been bitten 3 times trying to feed/save homeless felines. The antibiotic treatments and rabies shots are hell. Apparently, I never learn.

Some people might fear that the owner was at his wit's end and would give the cat up to a shelter, and therefore take him out of pity. This may be the smartest adoption ploy EVER.
