I had no idea about any of that --- will have to read his bio!

On edit - his niece is Harriet Walter - who played Harriet Vane so wonderfully in the Mystery adaptations of Dorothy Sayers' novels.

Step-cousin of Ian Fleming

Met JRR Tolkien

I started watching the Hammer horror flicks when I was about nine. I had fairly open-minded parents.

Christopher Lee rocks. Even as he heads into his nineties...

Peter Cushing, Ingrid Pitt, the Collinson twins as well as Christopher Lee made for wonderful viewing as a kid. Cheap budget, gothic and cool combined.

Someone was bugging him for details. When he had enough, he said, "Can you keep a secret?" "Yeah, yeah." "Well, so can I."

He's been married to his wife, Birgit Kroenche, since 1961.

Class act, both on and off the screen.
