But I have projects to finish, and unfortunately, life keeps getting in the way.

I think I can remain objective, but I haven't been here a year yet...so I don't feel 'qualified'. I certainly have the time, and would willingly serve in the future.

Mainly because we will be out of the country for about 2 and a half weeks, in June and into July.

It does take a fair amount of time, or it should, if you're dedicated to really helping.

I noticed more than a few people who signed up when I served the first time, and then they were never around, not one little bit. I didn't get it. Why sign up if you won't work?

It is a very important job. I had never realized how many trolls and disruptors invade DU every day. If we didn't have MIRT or something like it, we would be over-run.

It will be reassuring to have someone I trust show me the ropes.

I really am not sure about the next term, but that is awfully sweet of you!

There are always repeat MIRTers, and they are very helpful.

You could not pay me to MIRT.

Besides there are too many trollollols already entrenched here. MIRTing now is like guarding the door after the fox is in the henhouse.

Mirt offer. Sometimes when I have been called to Jury Duty and have read the complaint, i don't quite understand whats going on, and rather than make a foolish decision, I have excused myself from duty. Because of that, it would rather have someone who who sees and understands whats going on.. and can make an intelligent decision.

It doesn't really translate into being puzzled on MIRT, although it can.

Mostly it isn't that complicated.

And of course, we learn to how to judge, thanks to the more experienced MIRT folk.

You should try it...I think you would do well.
