I'm happy for you.

And proud of you. Not an easy thing to do. I've never smoked, but I've seen the scientific data. VERY difficult to do, and you did it!

Allen Carr's Easyway to Stop Smoking is the world's most popular quit smoking title, with an 80+ percent market share in the smoking cessation category. First published in the UK in 1985, it has sold over thirteen million copies and has topped bestseller lists in nine countries. This brand new edition has been written specifically for the US market and is based on the past five years of working with American smokers at our live seminars.

1200 Reviews and Five stars you can't find many books on amazon like that.

also consider a vaporizer, I haven't tried one but hear they work really well.

Good Luck.

I gave up my pipe and cigars (and I used to love, love, love cigars) several years ago and don't miss either one. It's also great to finally get rid of messy ashes around the house and the car that never quite make it into ash trays, not to mention holes in my clothes from stray cigar ash.

Good for you!!!

Besides not funding right wing white doods who own the tobacco companies, was to be able to fly and not worry about my smokes.

even though ciggs used to be absurdly cheap the last 10 years almost made up for it ......you could finance a yuppy mobile for what a
cigarette habit costs now.

I quit for 6 months back in 2009, a stressful situation got me started again.

One of the WORST decisions I made.

one thing though, If I quit once,

I can do it again.

Congratulations.

I'm not and never was a smoker but I'm worried and frustrated by family members that are. My mother, after nearly quitting or scarecly smoking at all now, in her early 70's now smokes more than ever: She can't go 20 frigging minutes without a cigarette. I pointendly remind her too of the cost of her habit every time she brings up how tenous her financial situation is, since she just blows off all my comments in regard to her health. My sister, who never smoked, actually took up smoking at 40 years old.

I've seen several people at work go weeks, a month, or more without smoking, only to fall off the wagon. I just don't understand the appeal, let alone the enjoyment, and so every time I hear of one kicking the habit for good.
