Yeah! Took a lot of elbow grease, but the carpet is ready!

Mixing Dawn and Tide in a 1 part soap to two part water. Allowing it to set on the stain for 10 minutes. Then using a tooth brush. Afterward blot with clean water!

THANK YOU all for your suggestions! I am ready for the inspection!

We have been so worries about this inspection. They are going to be very nit-picky. But the worse is out of the way!

Now you can pass that knowledge along to the next person.

I learn more stuff from DU than from anywhere else.

They saw how well it is working. And they now know how to get some of their stains out to! We all have the same type carpet.

The stuff on that list they will be looking at is... weird. From the flooring (which I can understand), to the inside of the toilet ( not the bowl but the other part).

They want us to remove a throw rugs, open the toilet and the closets. We have make sue they have access to everything. Or face a fee. I have lived in apartments and rental houses for a long time, I have never seen an inspection like this!

Ya know? Getting that stain out is the best b-day present I could have ever asked for! Thank you DU for the advice to make it possible!

Add) the only thing to top it would be for a job to call. Who knows, it has been such a good day so far...

My sister was screwed out of her rent controlled apartment after living there for 19 years over similar B.S. I'm glad you were able to find a solution, and good luck with your inspection.
