Call the MidWife....

What a wonderful and moving slice of life. It's a delicate little look at post War London and the ensuing baby boom.

This is what the brits do so well. Americans produce splash, frenetic bang in your face which is fine but give me the slow steady pace where we get to know the rich characters that fall away in most network shows.

I haven't seen this, and I keep hearing about it.

I know I would enjoy it since long ago I had thought seriously about becoming a midwife...

I guess I'll have to put the various CSI's on hold to get seeing this little gem.

4. You will NOT regret it. I'm sure season 1 is on Hulu or somewhere.

The little extras they show, behind the scenes... they talked about the fake baby they use but damn...that thing sure looks real to me scooting outta there!

Just the same, you can watch the streams that have already aired for season two on the PBS site.

Very well done, and not populated with models trying to act human.

a TV Show...

The closest British style show on American Network TV is Parenthood, in my humble opinion.
