We're batting 2 for 1 in the good news department.
First, we finally got a new dog. He's a wreck. A little Maltese, Shih Tzu mix. My bowling teammate, an animal control officer, has been trying to catch the little guy for a month, but he's eluded her. She finally got him. His front leg was broken and is now in a cast, and his back leg was torn open, now bandaged, and he weighs half of what he should. His xrays show a few other healed broken bones.
I love the little guy. We named him Moxy. I've been missing my dog for three years, good to have a new one, and he sure needed us.
Second good news, my 24 year old daughter finally got a full time job with halfway decent pay. It's not in her field of environmental science, but as a hotel front desk receptionist, which is what she did as a high school senior and college summers. Thing is, it's here in our little resort town. That the one not so good news item, she's moving home. Could get interesting around here.
Moxy gets his cast off in 3 weeks, then we'll be going on long walks.
