http://www.facebook.com/GalleryJ2?group_id=0Gamma Gallery will be there exhibiting his Sandy Hook Tribute. I wasn't able to find a lot of info on Gallery J2. Wish I could get down there for it, but not gonna happen. One of you needs to go for me and tell me what I missed.

(8,492 posts)I just don't have the funds to get down for it. If I had known sooner I would've saved up for the trip down and told my DIL to take the day off.

I don't wanna laugh, but... The visual is what did it!

(8,492 posts)A kind poster below had the info. When I first posted this, there was no address, dates, etc. I just knew it was 'soon' from the Gamma Gallery FB page. Looks like they've updated.
I'm going to try to talk the husband into taking me.

(1 post)This mural is currently being exhibited at Gallery J2 which is located on the second floor of J. Levines auction and appraisal at 10345 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale AZ 85253. I saw it yesterday and it's incredible. Apparently they are having an opening reception on May 1st for it which is open to the public. It's very powerful and worth the trip. It's nice to see the visual arts making a bold statement .

(8,492 posts)I haven't been able to see it in person, but when I my husband sent me the link...I can't even describe how it made me feel. The tears came immediately. I couldn't understand the controversy behind it. I just chalked it up to narrow mindedness. It truly is one of the most powerful statements I've seen.
Thank you so much for the additional info. Maybe I'll be able to see it!
Welcome to DU!
