Gonna get me a BFF fix soon!

I have one close friend. I'm as anti-social as they come, so I don't collect people. My best friend lives less than 3 miles from me and I haven't seen her in almost 3 months.

We were whining at each other today about how much we miss each other. We have agreed to check our schedules and get together this month!

So, I went and bought her a pendant that I saw on Buddhagroove's FB page. It says 'No mud. No lotus.' Thought of her right away.

I'm so excited I had to share with my closest friends here in the Lounge!

She's the polar opposite of me. Republican, Barbie blonde, 8000 kids (actually 6, but whatever), flashy dresser, likes that chick music that makes me wanna off myself, watches stupid girl movies and keeps trying to get me to read these 'empowering wimenz' books. Yes, opposites attract and I love her to death.

Why don't you each agree to walk a mile and a half and split a sandwich when you meet?

But, her schedule is unpredictable. Plus, I can't walk that far where I live.

And, then there's the little problem with agreeing on what kind of sandwich. We'd be there for 2 hours just arguing about bread.

She'd try to make me eat one of those lumpy breads with the rocks in them. I don't like bread, so I stick to bread that has no taste at all.
