3. I think it is mainly what has happened with Dave (My SO)

He was given a job offer. We had to have him go through some relicensing and retraining class that was through the employer, but had to pay out of pocket. Thankfully the VA helped with the cost. Then on the day he was supposed to be getting his assignment, they say "Oh sorry. We see you do not own a car and we forgot to tell you that you have to be self-bonded, Sorry, have a good day!"

7. I hate it when that happens!

We are going back out on the road together in about two weeks.

My worst fears were near Horse Cave Kentucky on I 65.

Also ... I 71 ... back in 1988 was a bad spot to be.

8. Dave's main profession is Loss Prevention-Security.

His favorite company to work for was in Vegas. Boyd Gaming. He misses working for them a lot.

But the people he was trying to get in with here just broke his heart. All either of us want is to do what we love. Why is that so much to ask?

11. Tring to find something.

Just so hard right now. Somehow, needing a job is a big hurtle. Got to have money to make money.

12. When I was stuck in Texas a few years I worked at an auction.

As a gate guard. Found the job in a newspaper listing. It wasn't easy. Some locations are more difficult than others. Is your state still a 'right_to_work' state?
