Does anyone here have any experience with the NutriBullet?

I am thinking of buying it based on online reviews. I did see that there are some issues with leaking, but it seems that if you don't overfill it, and if you tighten the base, that this doesn't happen. I also saw a suggestion to 'wet the rim' before using it.

Thanks!

All it is, is a souped-up version of a blender.

You can find blenders that work just as good in the stores for about $30 or less.

I already have a pretty good blender - but I am not sure it would blend flaxseeds, etc. as I have never tried to blend them.

I think I am going to try and see what happens.

Thank you for your feedback.

Paid $130 for it, it had individual cups, and (12? 13?) speeds, I forget.

It broke down after 2 years and my sister bought a blender for $25 at Shopko, has had that one now for 5 years now, works just as good, she just has to clean the pitcher more often.

we make smoothies with it, using lots of greens along with fruit - does a very nice job.

If it was only that, go for it, but there is the matter of leaking if you overfill it, no matter how tight.

So I say pass.

The thing broke down after just a few uses. The cups cracked where they screwed into the thing. I ended up throwing it away after just a few months.

Makes me think that all those positive reviews were not real ones. I am sorry you went through that.

Thank you!
