I am thinking of buying it based on online reviews. I did see that there are some issues with leaking, but it seems that if you don't overfill it, and if you tighten the base, that this doesn't happen. I also saw a suggestion to 'wet the rim' before using it.
Thanks!

(46,311 posts)All it is, is a souped-up version of a blender.
You can find blenders that work just as good in the stores for about $30 or less.

(39,320 posts)I already have a pretty good blender - but I am not sure it would blend flaxseeds, etc. as I have never tried to blend them.
I think I am going to try and see what happens.
Thank you for your feedback.

(46,311 posts)Paid $130 for it, it had individual cups, and (12? 13?) speeds, I forget.
It broke down after 2 years and my sister bought a blender for $25 at Shopko, has had that one now for 5 years now, works just as good, she just has to clean the pitcher more often.

(82,333 posts)If it was only that, go for it, but there is the matter of leaking if you overfill it, no matter how tight.
So I say pass.

(64 posts)The thing broke down after just a few uses. The cups cracked where they screwed into the thing. I ended up throwing it away after just a few months.

(39,320 posts)Makes me think that all those positive reviews were not real ones. I am sorry you went through that.
Thank you!
