(53,475 posts)it's gonna be over $60 K. It out-handles the ZL1, and is like Ferrari variants, a track car legal to drive. It only has one speaker, air conditioning is OPTIONAL, and ONLY a 6-speed is available.

I love my Chevy's and if I was wealthier (a lot) I'd buy one. Why you gotta hate on the Chevy?

(39,191 posts)they hate Chevy, chances are they hate the Union too.
Been a Chevy person my entire life. Never owned Foreign iron, never will, unless it's a Ferrari FF, but that ain't about to happen.

(7,208 posts)After reading your posts over time, you come off more as a car chauvinist than a car enthusiast.
The new Camaro is indeed quite a car. I just think they missed the mark on the styling, that's all. Lighten up.

(12,132 posts)but I needs mah luxuries like A/C and that nifty stereo with the usb slot for my 64gig flash drive full of tunes. Mine will be dark blue with silver rally stripes and leather seats. I don't need the Z28 but I hope one of my friends gets it so I can take a ride in one.

(185 posts)These are built in SC. Not very far from me.
The leather? It comes from Mexico in a huge box truck stacked to the top. The leather seat cover's are so wrinkled that they are steamed to get the wrinkles out.
BMW has a policy about no steaming of their leather.
Here's how it works.
Steam stations are set up at certain points on the line. The are formerly used for the clothe seats right? They are used for every seat.
BMW protects its self from the knowledge of the leather steaming by calling their sole supplier of these seats before they enter the building. Red hat alert is put out on the floor. The steam guns are put in the cabinet. When BMW leaves, they are taken back out. The wrinkled seats that were not steamed get rerouted back thru the line.
You custom order your car, it's all scanned, every component right?
Wrong! The actual components you get are not always the same one's scanned on the line. The supervisors wait until the seat is scanned, identify a problem, mark the seat, after it's gone thru final inspection, components are replaced, not rescanned, and your warranty is what ever. BMW knows it all, but they make sure they are shielded from official knowledge of it. Nothing gets done to a BMW vehicle that does not go thru BMW.
A whole host more deceptive manufacturing lies and deceptions crafted by BMW and their sole supplier's. The car's made in the USA are not the same quality as the ones in Germany. The workers are not paid the same, and they are not treated the same.
BMW loves it's black workers. They settle for much less , work injured for as long as they can, and then they file for federal disability.
