Dammit to hell!

As I type this a crew of plumbers are jack-hammering my beautiful marble floor in the living room..

It seems that the reason why our water bill spiked so drastically is that we have a "slab-leak"..

A week away from sending the IRS $2,961.00, we now have THIS to contend with .. No idea how much it will be..somewhere between the $350 to find the leak and ?

Some really thick greenish PVC. Should be good for like 100 years.

Usually the horror stories I hear are when you need a new leach field for the septic.

We had a "slab leak " that turned out to be a leak in the water supply to the fridge's ice maker.

Just not to fix it. Mine was between the house and the street. Cost insurance 250.00 to detect source. Cost me 1200.00 to repair. Maybe you will luck out on the detection. If they have to get under the slab to detect, that could be a bundle not paid by you?

My god, I am so sorry! May the bill be reasonable, the fix easy, and may it not be too much trouble to re-do the floor.

And fuck the IRS. I owe about 10 grand but the interest rate is squat so fuck it.
