imo: Emma Watson's look is not so pretty. Underfed isn't cool. In_The_Wind Apr 2013 #12
Generally speaking I agree with you. Good as she looks, the sharpness of her hip bone makes me wince nomorenomore08 Apr 2013 #13
It sends a horrible message that a healthy look isn't acceptable. In_The_Wind Apr 2013 #14

Maybe it's the excessive makeup and Photoshop "required" for a "Pretty Woman" shoot,
but if I were her friend and the increasing thinness and haggard look were more her
normal appearance now, I might talk to her about the possibility of needing some help.

I think she has her feet on the ground. She knows the pressure from L.A. is unrealistic. Luckily, she is athletic, which is not something that came through when she played Germaine on Harry Potter. (Spellchecker actually knew how to spell her name correctly.)

The film, from Sofia Coppola, actually looks interesting - and Emma Watson looks like shes being sensible about her career. Just like Daniel Radcliffe playing a young Alan Ginsberg was a good move. It must be hard to bust out of a 7 movie role with such mythic characters.

"The Bling Ring" is about the infamous group of California teens who allegedly broke into the homes of celebrities like Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Audrina Patridge, Megan Fox and Miranda Kerr and stole their designer goods between 2008 and 2009.

As a celebrity herself, Watson found it intriguing to play the role of someone like Nicki. "When I read the script and I realized that essentially it was a meditation on fame and what it's become to our society, I had to do it," she said. "The character is everything that I felt strongly against - she's superficial, materialistic, vain, amoral. She's all of these things and I realized that I hated her. How do you play someone you hate? But I found it really interesting and it gave me a whole new insight into what my job, or my role as an actress, could be."

Although she was willing to break out of her mold for this role, Watson doesn't plan on pushing the sexy boundary much further. She quickly shot down a rumor that she is in talks to play Anastasia Steele in the big-screen adaptation of E. L. James' erotic S&M novel, "Fifty Shades of Grey."

halfway through the first book of "Fifty Shades of Puke." Like an idiot, I bought the trilogy. Thought it was a poorly written POS and about as erotic as Meet The Press. OT, but it turns out the books were plagiarized from an online fan fiction based on Twilight. Glad she turned it down.

Curious as to why this thread even exists. Eye candy or ?

I have an impression of Emma Watson as being a very intelligent and reasonably well adjusted young woman. I hope she will be able to manage her fame and fortune without allowing it to become her undoing, as so many other talented young celebrities have done.

I believe she was attending Brown University for a while, but dropped out due to her too busy acting schedule. Plus, I believe she has done charitable work related to helping to end poverty.

I think she has a good head on her shoulders, so I'm hopeful there is nothing to worry about.
