(2,173 posts)In this market, the only thing anyone has going for them is self-confidence. Show it. Otherwise they'll either dismiss you or walk all over you. Walk in with bowling balls for nuts. You'll get it.

It went pretty well, but they have others to interview, so I'll find out later this week one way or another.

(54,335 posts)My job doesn't work like that, but my brother-in-law's job is ALWAYS like that, and he never knows if he'll have a gig for ten days or ten years. Takes nerves of steel, I'll bet. Here's hoping yours are gossamer, and you're the one left standing when the smoke clears!
