and in return they turned me on to the likes of Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Blink 182, Weezer, No Doubt, The Offspring, Oasis.

My girls were born in 83, 86 and 95 so...of course they got The Beatles, The Who, Zeppelin, Stones, Floyd, Aerosmith, Elton, U2, Queen, REM, Rush from me.

Not sure who got the best of the deal.

I remember when my oldest son was little I overheard him telling someone about how much he loved "classical music" but then I chuckled so hard when I heard him explain "you know, like Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin" - Lol.

I just discovered Andy and Alex a couple of days ago and subscribed! As Dad used to say "What a co-inky-dink [re: coincidence]".

I like that they are more informed about music and make interesting comments about technical issues but still have some of the wide-eyed enthusiasm for new (to them) music.

We really did live through some amazing music, didn’t we?

the members were still with us. I saw The Who at Cobo Arena in Detroit in 1973 when I was 17. Wow. I actually found the setlist online:

I need to search the interwebs for details about the performances I saw back in the day. The memories are nearly as old as I am and they’re deteriorating even faster!
