being dumped in the river?

I've watched it several times and maybe I missed it, but then again.... I heard them say their process has kept 70 cages of pure pesticides from getting dumped into the river. But if pesticides are a problem when the flowers are dumped in the river, aren't they also a problem when charcoal free flower based incense is burned? Or when the incense sticks are hand rolled without the use of gloves?
