(29,467 posts)was kinda weird......theyve been gone for a week now. The hummers @re such fun to watch.....I have names for them depending how how the drink at the feeder. Weve got at least four. Flighty, she never sits when drinking, is always flying. Gazer, shell drink while sitting, then shell just start looking around. Bomber, hell drink sitting down, and when another comes around hell just fly after them and return to drinking. Then theres two feathers......a sitter when drinking and has what look likes two tail feathers. Oh yah, love them all.

(10,565 posts)It said you can put up multiple feeders because the dominant hummer can't guard more than one.

(11,244 posts)and a bed of crocosmia plants and a bunch of canna plants. We're loaded for hummers but the only time I've seen 2 on the same plant was a mother with her offspring when she was showing her baby where to eat.

Yes, it's fresh sugar water in the correct amount of sugar to water.
