Happy to see the hummers. They were late getting here and haven’t seen them that much so far. I’m in Delaware

was kinda weird......they’ve been gone for a week now. The hummers @re such fun to watch.....I have names for them depending how how the drink at the feeder. We’ve got at least four. Flighty, she never sits when drinking, is always flying. Gazer, she’ll drink while sitting, then she’ll just start looking around. Bomber, he’ll drink sitting down, and when another comes around he’ll just fly after them and return to drinking. Then there’s two feathers......a sitter when drinking and has what look likes two tail feathers. Oh yah, love them all.

They do have individual habits. I got one photo of the female. Don’t know how to post it. Enjoy your birds!

It said you can put up multiple feeders because the dominant hummer can't guard more than one.

8. I see it every day. We have 5 feeders out, 2 hanging Fushia plants, 7 hanging firecracker plants

and a bed of crocosmia plants and a bunch of canna plants. We're loaded for hummers but the only time I've seen 2 on the same plant was a mother with her offspring when she was showing her baby where to eat.

10. By far the best plant we've had here is Vermillionaire. Fushia brings them in early but

One came in today; check the feeder, then left. We think he may be color blind.

Yes, it's fresh sugar water in the correct amount of sugar to water.
