Gov. Newsome is calling for the home isolation of all seniors, 65 years and older, and those with chronic conditions. Announces new team standing behind him dedicated to this. Designed to protect most vulnerable. Also states closing all bars. Restaurants maybe socially distanced.

same thing. High infection numbers in NYC area. 2 deaths there. 5 confirmed cases at the other side of the state, 2 near Rochester and 3 in Buffalo area.

It is now mandatory that gathering places in NY, including bars, restaurants, churches, etc. must reduce their approved capacity by half in order to make physical distancing possible. Violaters will be shut down. Bars and restaurants could lose licenses for violating new capacity rule.

Cuomo and Buffalo's Erie County Public Health Dept have advised that vulnerable people with health issues and people over 60 remain at home, or at least avoid groups.
