Real Time with Bill Maher (HBO) - 8/7/20

Last edited Sun Aug 9, 2020, 12:41 AM - Edit history (1)

Monologue: The Incredible Sulk

Bill recaps the top stories of the week, including Donald Trump's disastrous Axios interview and Joe Biden's virtual campaign strategy.

Chris Evans: A Starting Point

Producer, director and "Captain America" actor Chris Evans joins Bill to discuss his new civic engagement platform, "A Starting Point."

New Rule: Here Lies Donald Trump

Bill offers President Trump some insight into how he will be remembered when he's gone.

Since the interviews haven't been made available on the Real Time site yet, here's what we've seen called a "bootleg" recording of the show - but it won't be available for long...

And this seems to help. As for the lack of interview uploads, this is very unusual, maybe someone new is responsible? Since he's been broadcasting from home, they're often available immediately or even ahead of time since he apparently records them - unlike the live studio show - at different times.

I especially liked the mock Trump funeral! Especially when he said that Melania replied "Maybe" as to whether she would attend or not. That is definitely one event I want to see in reality.

It's gotten so even comedians have to be extremely careful... Trump already sued him once, that's what he does.

I waited to post this last night until the interviews were available, as usual, but they only uploaded the Monologue and New Rules. Since he's been broadcasting from home, they're usually available early or ahead of time since they're often prerecorded now. Strange that they uploaded only this of the three, since it was the least political. But thanks so much for the heads up, I'll add it to the OP.
